The League Championship Series, or better known as the LCS, is the highest level of organized competition for the video game League of Legends. Since its conception 11 years ago, the LCS has grown to become the third-most watched sports league in North America behind the NFL and NBA.

I created a special event package which includes three motion pieces to be played at the event, the tournament opening, and wayfinding promo. The animation concepts highlight the chaos that league of legends brings, by showing a mix of glitchy-grungy graphics.
Typography, Branding, Motion Graphics
Inspired by traditional sports graphics and my on-going thesis research; I concepted and crafted a visual package for the League of Legends professional league event.
Process
This was a reintroduction to motion and animation for me. The goal was to streamline a process from concept to final designs. Throughout this project, I focused on typography, capturing the spirit of the design and identity design.
